Margaret Muthee is a trained journalist and freelance writer working and living in Nairobi Kenya. She is an upcoming African writer and was part of the 2015 Writivism mentorship program. Her first short story was written as part of this mentorship and was first published in One Throne Magazine. Her short stories have been published by Lawino Magazine and Brittle Paper. Her stories have been republished by the Wagon magazine as well as Bahati books in collaboration with Writivism.
Her poetry has appeared in Fresh pain volume I and in a Kampala poetry anthology Boda Boda anthem and other poems. Her articles have appeared in The Star Newspaper, Nation newspaper and Healthy Woman magazine. Margaret is keen on developing her creative writing skills and hopes to get more published in future.
