Ayo Oyeku is an Ibadan born Nigerian writer whose poems have appeared in several anthologies and online literary magazines, including Fingernails across the Chalkboard, Stand Our Ground, The Sky is Our Earth, According to Sources (Writers Project of Ghana, 2015), VINYL, Kalahari Review and Brittle Paper. His debut novel, Tears of the Lonely, won the 2015 Ezenwa Ohaeta Award for Young Nigerian Novelists, by the Society of Young Nigerian Writers. Some of his short stories have appeared in Miracle Literary Magazine, AFREADA, Brittle Paper, Ebedi Review, and EXPERIMENTAL WRITING: Volume 1, Africa vs Latin America Anthology.

Ayo Oyeku currently has five published books and when he is not writing, he works at UNESCO Read and Earn Association, Nigeria, where he currently serves as a Regional Coordinator – with the aim of eradicating illiteracy in Nigeria, one heart at a time.
